For the second consecutive time… Qatar earns the trust of the International Gymnastics Federation
The State of Qatar continues to strengthen its leading position on the global sports map, as the Qatar Gymnastics Federation has earned the trust of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) for the second consecutive time by hosting the Artistic Gymnastics Technical Committee Meeting (Men & Women). The meeting is being held in Doha from February 7 to 10, with the participation of a distinguished group of gymnastics experts and officials responsible for the development of artistic gymnastics from various countries around the world.
This event comes as an extension of the growing international confidence placed in the State of Qatar by the FIG, particularly following the great success achieved by Doha in hosting the FIG Trampoline Technical Committee Meeting from December 4 to 9 last year. This reflects the advanced position Qatar has attained in organizing and hosting global technical meetings.
In this context, Mr. Ali Al-Hitmi, President of the Qatar Gymnastics Federation, confirmed that hosting this meeting for the second consecutive time represents a great source of pride for the federation and for Qatari sport as a whole. He noted that this trust reflects the high level of professionalism within the federation, as well as the strong support that sport receives from the country’s wise leadership.
